PENNY CRIDER LAUNCHES RACE FOR DISTRICT 17 STATE REPRESENTATIVE
Republican Vows to Run on a ‘Family First’ Platform
LIVONIA, Mich., – Penny Crider today officially announced her Republican candidacy for the 17th House District to represent the cities of NW- Detroit, N- Redford and N- Livonia. Penny, who was raised in the Metro Detroit area, and with her husband Ken Crider, bought their first home in N-Redford and started her family there before moving to Livonia.
“Unfortunately, I believe citizens who want the best for our Metro Detroit Communities, no longer have a voice in Lansing. I am running to be that voice,” said Penny Crider.
Penny will be running on a “Family First” platform which focuses on supporting Michigan schools, bringing more jobs to Metro Detroit, defending policies which protect families, seniors and the unborn and supporting public safety initiatives and personnel.
She worked for six years for the State of Michigan as the District Manager of the 7th State Senate District. Penny is also a graduate of Clarenceville High School in Livonia, where she met her high school sweetheart, Ken. The two have been married for 37 years and raised their son in the Livonia.
When elected, Penny will be fighting for your constitutionally protected rights. As a 2nd amendment rights advocate, Penny will fight for your right to protect yourself and those you love. Crider, will be a voice for those who can't speak for themselves. Crider will also, fight for free speech as well as free and fair elections. Crider will fight for an individuals right to make medical choices that best suite themselves. Penny will respect and fight for parental control over their childs healthcare and education.
